ShowBoats International Rendezvous
Mark your calendar for November 8-11, 2012 when you may spend a long weekend at the magnificent Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas. This annual three-day event is one of the largest social gatherings of superyachts for charity in the world, raising more than $30 million to date to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and the 12,000 at-risk youth it serves.
The 25th Annual ShowBoats Boys & Girls Club International Rendezvous will include traditional weekend favorites such as the famed “Dine Around the Docks” Yacht Hop, where Rendezvous attendees board the magnificent yachts and are treated to the ‘good life’ as yacht owners and captains do their best to out-do one another and truly impress their guests.
Friday will feature a groovy-style 60’s themed party, featuring elegant food stations and live entertainment by two of the best Beatles and Beach Boys tribute bands in the country. The weekend will also include the black-tie gala dinner on Saturday, where guests will enjoy good food, good drinks and great company as well as a live performance by a top-tier musical entertainer (previous performers have included The Doobie Brothers, Donna Summer, Michael Bolton, KC & The Sunshine Band, Earth Wind & Fire).
